What is the therapy and how does it work?
Thermo-Auricular Therapy (Hopi Ear Candles) is a very relaxing, gentle treatment used to treat conditions of the head and neck, such as, headaches/migraines, sinus problems, tinnitus, Earwax, Colds/flu, and stress amongst other things.
A long hollow candle is placed over the hole in the ear, which creates a chimney effect. This gently draws out all the impurities and toxins from the ear. Some of these may be withdrawn and taken into the candle by the end of the treatment, some may take 24-48 hours to loosen, others may need a couple of treatments before things start to work. This all depends on how bad the condition is.
Hopi-Ear Candles
Made according to the traditional Hopi Indian recipe, the ingredients include pure beeswax, precious honey extracts and organic linen. These are combined with powdered Indian medicinal herbs, such as Sage, St. John's Wort and Chamomile, well known for their healing properties.
